STOCK CONTROLLER REQUIRED DONCASTER, DN2 AREA
My client based in Doncaster who specialise in health and safety are looking for a dedicated and efficient Stocker / Stock Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the warehouse operations run smoothly by managing inventory and maintaining the organisation of stock. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of heavy lifting and has a keen eye for detail. There will also be elements of van driving to local customers replenishing stock and carrying out stock deliveries.
Responsibilities
* Acquire relevant stock items for customer vending machines
* Stock vending machines on customer sites as required, locally
* Liaise directly with customers and account managers to ensure a high level of service
* Efficiently managing time to ensure customers sites are visited at agreed dates and times
* Providing web support for self-managed customers
* Liaising with the central team to ensure stocks are counted and accurate data maintained as well as updating them on relevant customer information
* Maintaining professional housekeeping standards of all inventory and locations within a customer site and work in the trade counter as required in times of absence/holidays of colleagues
* Complying with vehicle servicing requirements and maintain the appearance of their company vehicle
* Completing weekly control forms to be returned to the central team for logging
Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse or stock controlling role is preferred.
* MUST have a full UK Driving licence to apply
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Computer literate
This is a temporary on-going position with potential to lead permanent. Working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40hr week), occasional Saturday 9am-12pm may be required, paid overtime or offered half a day off during the week.
Weekly pay £12.60ph
