A growing Ecommerce Retailer in the Greater Manchester area. They sell a variety of trend led product for the home and apparel are seeking to add new product areas. Due to strong trading figures and company investment, they are seeking to add to their Buying Team with a Buyer - Homeware.
Job Description
3. You the buyer will identify and source new products that align with consumer trends and company objectives.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
5. Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to promote products.
6. Manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
7. Ensure product availability and timely delivery.
8. Comply with all relevant industry regulations.
9. Manage junior members of your team.
10. Provide insightful feedback and reporting to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
11. Ideally has buying experience in homeware, textiles, furniture, home decor or similar
12. Highly organised
13. Strong communication and presentation skills
14. Analytical
15. Solid commercial awareness
16. Creative
17. Understanding of the supply chain
18. Ability to independently grow a product range
19. Administrative and accuracy skills
20. IT skills including Excel
