English Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Attleborough and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages.
Duties as English Teacher:
* Deliver engaging English lessons using provided plans
* Teach key curriculum areas such as literature, language, reading, writing, and analysis
* Support students in developing strong communication and critical‑thinking skills
* Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Assess and record pupil progress when required
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
* Contribute to departmental collaboration during longer‑term placements
Ideal English Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature
* Confident classroom and behaviour management abilities
* Ability to inspire and motivate students across multiple year groups
* Flexible and adaptable across different school environments
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
