We are recruiting a Business Unit Technical Manager for our Data Centre division supporting multiple accounts nationally. Candidates should have a proven track record in mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering and excellent interpersonal skills. Electrical qualification and experience in Data Centre environments are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide onsite operations teams and clients with technical SME support.
* Drive operational excellence across all data centres.
* Promote risk management culture and ensure compliance with the DCS Shield program and CBRE risk management processes.
* Develop and implement risk reduction strategies to minimise risks and maximise uptime, including maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans.
* Manage assets focusing on data quality, FMRs, and maintenance strategies.
* Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and produce incident reports and lessons learned.
* Act as Senior Authorized Person for HV / LV and confined space operations.
* Conduct technical compliance audits and reviews.
* Produce technical reports as required.
* Mentor technical managers and operations teams in engineering best practices.
* Lead apprenticeship and training programs to develop operational team competencies.
* Support project and business development teams with technical SME input.
* Collaborate with the QHSE team.
* Engage with leadership to support business growth strategies.
