TIG Welder Location: Banbury Pay Rate: £29,500 Overtime: Paid at 1.3x Role Overview Are you an experienced TIG Welder or someone looking to start a career in specialist welding? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our manufacturing team in Banbury. This is a temp-to-perm position where you will build high-end stainless steel food trolleys and ventilation systems. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a trainee with a great attitude, we offer a clear path for progression and long-term stability. Working Hours & Breaks * Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00 * Friday: 07:00 – 14:00 (Early finish!) * Morning Break: 15 minutes (Fully Paid) * Lunch Break: 30 minutes (Unpaid) Key Responsibilities * Precision Welding: Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components. * Fabrication: Build and assemble food service trolleys and ventilation systems. * Technical Specs: Work from drawings to ensure high-quality finishes. * System Integration: Help install heating and airflow components within the units. * Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe welding bay. Candidate Requirements * Skill Level: Experienced TIG welders are highly valued, but we are happy to take on trainees with a basic understanding or a strong desire to learn the trade. * Material Knwoledge: Comfortable (or willing to learn) working with thin-gauge stainless steel. * Attention to Detail: Pride in producing neat, high-standard welds. * Reliability: Punctual, hardworking, and ready to grow with the company.
