About the Role
As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will support fee earners in managing residential and commercial property transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth processes for clients, handling legal documentation, and liaising with stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing a caseload of conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
* Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities.
* Communicate with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to facilitate transactions.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
* Maintain accurate records and update case management systems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in conveyancing or property law.
* Strong understanding of residential and commercial property transactions.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and client management skills.
* Relevant legal qualifications (e.g., CILEX, LPC, or equivalent experience).
