About the role
As a Lecturer in Law (Legal Practice) at the Leicester Law School you will contribute to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We are interested in applications from candidates in all areas of Law but the ability to teach one or more of the following undergraduate modules would be advantageous:
1. Land Law, and/or
2. Equity & Trusts, and/or
3. Family Law, and/or
4. Intellectual Property Law, and/or
5. Business Law-related modules
6. Employment Law
You will be expected to contribute to the work of our award-winning Legal Advice Clinic. This includes the supervision of free legal advice activities and of pro bono projects in our community.
You will be expected to contribute to the development and enhancement of relationships with external parties to support the student experience and to promote the positive impact of Leicester University on our community.

About you
You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK with significant professional practice experience and a current practising certificate. You will be committed to the delivery of outstanding teaching, pro bono and clinical work, access to justice, and the provision of an excellent student experience.
You will enrich our student experience and able to teach on our Law programmes and contribute to the work of our award-winning Legal Advice Clinic, in this way making an exceptional contribution to the Our Citizen strand of the University's Strategic Plan. You will join a dynamic and forward-thinking team that values creativity and innovation.
