Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Dependent on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teacher to support schools across Grimsby. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a critical role in supporting early childhood development. You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities that support language development, motor skills, social interaction, and curiosity for learning—building confident and capable learners ready for Key Stage 1.
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher Responsibilities:
* Deliver creative and structured lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
* Foster a safe and stimulating environment that encourages active exploration and discovery.
* Observe and assess children’s development to inform planning and meet individual needs.
* Support the development of communication, language, and literacy in playful, meaningful contexts.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being through nurturing relationships and routines.
* Work closely with teaching assistants and parents to ensure consistency and support beyond the classroom.
* Ensure effective safeguarding procedures are followed in line with school policy.
* Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing CPD.
Skills & Requirements for EYFS Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
* Experience teaching in an EYFS setting within UK primary schools is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and early childhood development.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A patient, creative, and caring attitude towards early learners.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
