Contract: 6 months
Based: Warton, Lancashire
BAE Systems are looking for a proactive and organised New Business Bid Project Manager to join the Typhoon Production & ILS line of business at BAE Systems. You'll work within the New Business Team, supporting bid activity for obsolescence contracts related to Typhoon aircraft equipment.
The Job
* Support full bid development cycle
* Assist in preparing bid plans and driving stakeholder engagement
* Manage and track bid budgets and funding
* Prepare documentation and reports for internal reviews
* Coordinate and lead meetings in the absence of the Bid Lead
* Provide timely responses to customer queries
* Support handover of successful bids to the delivery team
Skills
* Understanding of bid processes and governance
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
* Confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Able to organise, track, and report on project progress
* Experience running meetings and managing schedules
