Reports to: Head of Faculty - Business & Computing

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities
* Deliver an ambitious Business curriculum that prepares pupils for GCSE and/or BTEC qualifications
* Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning within the Business department
* Create a positive learning environment where pupils are motivated, engaged and supported to achieve their potential
Knowledge & Experience:
* Ability to deliver consistently outstanding lessons in this subject to pupils of all ages and abilities
* Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum in the subject
* Knowledge & experience of Safeguarding & Child Protection issues
* Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, well developed planning & organising skills including time management
* A clear passion for your subject and the ability to enthuse and inspire others
Qualification Criteria:
* Qualified to at least degree level in the subject being taught
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Right to work in the U.K.
