Financial Controller / Temp to Perm / 75k - 80k / Hybrid / Warrington
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting process, ensuring robust controls, and managing statutory accounts and audits. You'll act as a key partner to the Finance Director and contribute to strategic decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements .
Manage and maintain robust financial controls across the business.
Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors .
Ensure timely and accurate group consolidations and internal reporting packs.
Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Work with operational teams to drive financial understanding and accountability.
Drive continuous improvements in processes and systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Mentor and develop members of the finance team.
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in an FMCG or fast-paced environment .
Strong understanding of statutory accounting and experience managing audits .
Proficiency in financial consolidations and reporting.
Excellent Excel and ERP system skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
