We’re seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join a successful brokerage in Chelmsford. This is a direct replacement, so you’ll step into a key role supporting a strong client portfolio from day one.
The Role
As a Commercial Account Handler, you’ll be at the heart of client service, managing commercial insurance accounts and working closely with Account Executives and insurers. Your role will include:
* Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business efficiently
* Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients
* Negotiating terms with insurers to secure the best outcomes
* Producing accurate policy documentation and maintaining compliant client records
* Supporting Account Executives and contributing to a high-performing team
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in commercial insurance, ideally 2–3 years
* Confident managing renewals and client queries independently
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
Bonus points for:
* Working towards or holding Cert CII
* Experience with Acturis or similar systems
