Ingenii Search are currently partnering with a dynamic and innovative start-up revolutionising their industry. They are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join the team and play a pivotal role in shaping their data strategy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, build predictive models, and drive innovation through data-driven approaches.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse large, complex datasets to extract valuable insights and identify trends/patterns.
* Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and optimise processes.
* IOT experience.
* Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.
* Work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to integrate data-driven solutions into our products/services.
* Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualisations.
* Interpret field and laboratory sensor data for detection and prediction.
* Create predictive models from scratch to reinforcing the learning.
Qualifications:
* Bsc, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
* Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Scientist or Data Engineering, preferably in a start-up environment.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, as well as experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
* Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, neural networks).
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) and proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
