Mobile HGV Trailer Technician
Location: Fradley park with regional travel.
45 hours per week

We are now looking for skilled HGV Trailer Technicians like you to join our team!
As our mobile Trailer Technician, you will be integral to the continued success of the After Sales Service Department. You will proactively deliver high quality repair and maintenance ensuring our customer experience requirements are of the highest standard.

What you will be doing:
* Covering breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
* Conducting servicing and preventative maintenance on HGV Trailers both at our Fradley workshop and customers premises.
* Diagnose and repair faults in braking systems, suspension, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, wiring and chassis components.
* Replace and repair worn or damaged components such as wheels, axles and landing legs.
* Work efficiently to ensure vehicles are repaired within agreed timeframes
* Following health and safety procedures including wearing the appropriate PPE and ensuring you have carried out the relevant training for all manual handling equipment and use of tools.
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working vehicle.
What you will need:
* A reliable, safety- first approach.
* Proven experience in Trailer or HGV maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Excellent knowledge of vehicle legal standards and regulations.
* Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair techniques.
* Flexibility to travel regionally (on call to cover unexpected breakdowns)
* Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and demonstrate proactive problem solving.
