Overview
As a Store Manager in a dynamic team, you are a pivotal leader shaping the experiences of your team and the customers you serve. Your actions drive sales and create an environment where our core values come to life: love our customers, care for our colleagues, and protect the pounds (and euros).
Responsibilities
* Provide the highest levels of customer service: coach and guide your store teams to ensure everyone delivers an excellent customer experience during every interaction.
* Lead the store by placing the right people in the right roles at the right time, building a strong, capable team.
* Care for our colleagues: create a safe environment and ensure all policies and procedures are followed; work shoulder to shoulder to lead the team.
* Develop people: support upward growth, internal opportunities, and the development of each team member’s current role.
* Protect the pounds (and euros): guide a team aligned with store and business goals; ensure they understand how they contribute to commercial objectives.
* Apply a strategic approach to sales, shrink, and service to keep the store operating smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
* At least one year of experience in a supervisory or management role, including team leadership and performance management.
* Experience managing store operations, including stock control, cash handling, and maintaining store standards.
* Ability to drive store performance by leading a team to achieve KPIs (sales targets, waste reduction, customer service scores) and to use sales data to improve results and manage budgets to maximise profitability.
