Job Description
* Inspect and evaluate incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Maintain and update quality documentation, including reports and records.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues effectively.
* Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve production processes.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant quality regulations and standards.
* Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.
* Train staff on quality procedures and best practices where required.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality systems and processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
* Experience in quality assurance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
* An understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
