Part-Time Medical Assistant Position: 3-4 Days in Plymouth Clinic!
Pinnacle Dermatology, part of the QualDerm partners family, is seeking a committed Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our vibrant team in our Plymouth, MN location. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history
* Assist the physician during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
* Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
* Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
* Educated patients on their treatment plans, medications and skincare practices
* Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and ready for the next patient

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within a clinical environment.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and best practices relevant to dermatology.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced work setting.
* Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software.

Compensation Range: $22 - $29 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
