Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our building maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of reactive and planned joinery/carpentry tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. You will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attemtion to detail, resilience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Joiner.
* Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools
* Knowledge of building regulations and health and safety practices
* Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent qualification (desirable
* Full UK Driving license essential
* Overtime Call out Rota when required
* DBS Preferred but not essential
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are advantageous but not essential.
