Due to an internal move a great opportunity has arisen in our Production Planning team at Taylors of Harrogate and we are looking for a Production Planner to join us at our main site in Harrogate on a permanent, full‑time basis (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday). In this role you will be working collaboratively and cross‑functionally as part of a team to create production requirements which satisfy customer demand whilst holding optimum stock levels working alongside our famous brands Yorkshire Tea and Taylors of Harrogate. We strive to improve efficiencies and maximise capacity and to oversee stock holding.
Responsibilities
* Deliver efficient production schedules and maintain stock levels to meet customer demand.
* Uphold the production planning processes, ensuring effective scheduling and capacity planning.
* Actively maintain the 24‑month production plan and contribute information into the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and scenario modelling.
* Represent Planning in cross‑functional forums, providing timely and accurate data.
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders on production, stock, and capacity updates.
* Support continuous improvement of planning accuracy and plan attainment.
* Provide cover across planning functions as needed.
