The Role
As a Contracts and Onboarding Manager, you’ll have a role focused on people operations, driving process excellence, legal compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact by enhancing the employee experience, supporting strategic HR initiatives and contributing to our mission of national defence and engineering innovation.
Day-to-day, you’ll lead a dynamic team responsible for delivering a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for new hires, internal movers and emerging talent.
* Leading and developing a team of Onboarding and Contract Administrators
* Managing the preparation, issuing and tracking of employment contracts
* Overseeing onboarding processes to ensure a smooth experience for new starters
* Collaborating with legal and HR teams to maintain compliant contract templates
* Driving process improvements and monitoring performance against SLAs
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.
Essential Experience
* Proven experience in HR administration, contracts management or onboarding coordination
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
Essential:
* Relevant experience in HR or contract administration
Preferred:
* CIPD qualification or equivalent
* Experience with digital contract management platforms
* Familiarity with onboarding tools and HR software
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
