Overview
SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Surrey. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support. We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND and other needs, including SEMH, MLD, and SLD. Targeted Provision supports children and young people with a trauma-informed, holistic approach and a team around the child.
This role is suitable for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work 1:1 with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative and flexible environment.

The SEN / SEND Tutor Role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and other needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support young people referred by local authorities and schools, addressing educational and social-emotional needs
* Offer flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver engaging, holistic sessions that meet individual needs and progress educational and social-emotional goals
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote assignments

Employment Status

* Contract for service; paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed amount of work or expenses coverage
* Insurance covers the work you do for us
* Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
