We are seeking a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to provide comprehensive business and financial support to the Capital Team within the Strategy & Transformation directorate. This role will assist the Project Scheduling Manager with key administrative and financial tasks, including raising and receipting purchase orders, resolving payment queries, and supporting the preparation of tender and quotation documentation. The post holder will also maintain accurate project records, track capital expenditure, and act as a key point of contact for financial enquiries related to estates projects. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential for success in this dynamic and fast paced role. Interview Date: 4th December Main duties of the job We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Finance Administrator to support the Capital Team within the Trust. This vital role involves delivering efficient financial and administrative services to ensure the smooth running of capital projects. Key responsibilities include managing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate project documentation, liaising with internal departments and external contractors, and supporting project governance in line with Trust policies. The post holder will also coordinate meetings, manage diaries, maintain databases, and contribute to financial reporting and VAT recovery. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
