We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to support a gentleman with Epilepsy and Autism in his own home as part of a tailored supported living service in Newnham, Gloucestershire. This unique and rewarding role offers the chance to make a real impact in someone’s life—working directly for his mother, you’ll lead a small team of support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. About the Role: As Team Leader, you will: * Oversee the day-to-day care and support of the gentleman in his home. * Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism. * Support the individual's independence, daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and health needs—particularly around managing epilepsy and Autism. * Liaise closely with his mother, professionals, and external services to ensure a consistent, supportive environment. * Implement care plans, risk assessments, and medication protocols tailored to his specific needs. What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience working with adults with learning disabilities, Autism, and epilepsy. * Leadership experience within a care setting, ideally in supported living. * NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable. * Strong communication, empathy, and team management skills. * Calm, reliable, and proactive approach to complex care situations. * Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to work flexible hours including weekends and sleep-ins, if required.
