Location: Abingdon Campus
Contract type: Permanent
Responsible for managing a cohort of apprentices, employers, and work-based learning students from enrolment through to timely completion. This includes coordinating sign-up paperwork, managing inductions, tracking learner progress, organising exam registrations, and ensuring qualifications are completed on time.
You'll conduct progress reviews with learners and employers, document learning via eILPs, and liaise regularly with delivery staff and employers to coordinate training. Under the guidance of the Apprenticeship Manager, you'll help design tailored apprenticeship programmes that meet funding rules, standards, employer needs, and apprentice aspirations. You'll also stay informed on sector developments and support business development through strong employer relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Manage apprentices and work-based learners from enrolment to completion
* Conduct IAG interviews, sign-ups, enrolments, and inductions
* Track learner progress using college systems and analyse reports
* Coordinate training delivery and design tailored apprenticeship programmes
* Carry out learner and employer progress reviews
* Act as main contact for employers in your sector
* Stay up to date with apprenticeship standards and sector developments
* Support marketing and employer engagement activities
* Handle admin tasks including exam registrations, room bookings, EPA coordination, and feedback collection
Essential Experience:
* Relevant qualification at Level 3 or above
* Experience coordinating training and development
* Proven success in delivering programme outcomes and SMART targets
* Understanding of employer training needs
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* High-level customer service skills
Desirable Experience:
* Knowledge of employer engagement initiatives
* Experience providing IAG
* Experience coordinating apprenticeships
* Skilled in creating training/development plans
* Experience reviewing and recording learner progress
* Background in account management or sales
* Commercial awareness and professional credibility
