Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities
* Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, primarily sheet metal, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately fabricate parts.
* Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce components that meet quality standards.
* Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during fabrication and welding processes.
* Conduct routine inspections of completed work to ensure precision and quality.
Experience
* Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
* Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
* Knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles.
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading.
* Familiarity with welding safety procedures and best practices.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is desirable but not essential for highly motivated candidates eager to learn. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work accurately under supervision or independently as needed. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of their work.
Details:
* Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm.
* Friday 7.30am-12pm
* £14-£16 per hour dependent on experience
