About The Role
Professional Project / Programme Manager responsible for managing the delivery of Highway project management and programme management services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
2. Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships
3. Delivering high-quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements
4. Managing projects and/or programmes to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures
5. Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent, or project manager
6. Producing and presenting to customers
7. Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the business units activities
8. Managing service delivery for profit
9. Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; particularly those that might impact Gleeds' professional indemnity (PI) insurance

About You
Who we’re looking for:
Experience, Knowledge, and Key Skills
1. UK Highways delivery experience
2. Knowledge of NEC3/4 Contracts
3. Sound project management and/or programme management experience post-qualification
4. Sound knowledge and practiced experience of project management techniques
5. Ability to administer construction contracts as Contract Administrator, Employer’s Agent, and/or Project Manager
6. Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts
7. Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
8. Methodical way of thinking and approach to work
9. Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
10. Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills
11. Sound ICT skills, with high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
12. Ability to work as part of a team
Qualifications
1. MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or
2. MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers) or
3. MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders)
