Job Overview:
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated verification engineer to join the growing System IP team. This is a fast-paced technical role employing the latest hardware design verification methodologies to develop complex and highly configurable hardware IP that are central to Arm-based Systems.
This role is for the Interconnect product team, which develops Arm Corelink Interconnect IP products. Our Interconnects and NoCs are designed for intelligent connected systems across various applications including mobile, IoT, networking infrastructure, and automotive. The highly scalable IP is optimized for AMBA-compliant SoC connectivity and can be customized for multiple performance points.
Responsibilities:
You will specify and develop new hardware verification testbenches for future hardware IP generations. You will enhance existing testbenches to improve performance, quality, and efficiency. Additionally, you will identify areas for methodological improvements and implement those changes to advance our verification practices.
* Review and assess proposed design changes from a verification complexity perspective.
* Own the verification environment from investigation to verification closure.
* Investigate and script new verification flows and optimize existing ones.
* Analyze simulation data using machine learning and data science techniques to drive bug discovery and coverage closure.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve verification methodology.
* Mentor team members to develop verification skills.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience with constrained-random verification, including ownership of complex verification environments.
* Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.
* Strong software engineering skills, including understanding object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
* Ability to develop verification flows, utilize EDA tools effectively, and possess good scripting skills.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience:
* Leadership and mentoring experience.
* Knowledge of multiprocessing microarchitecture, cache coherence, and bus protocols (e.g., AMBA5 CHI, AMBA4 ACE, AXI).
* Experience with Formal Verification testbenches is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
* Focused problem analysis and solving skills.
