Supply Teachers Durham Secondary Schools Teaching Personnel is recruiting supply teachers for secondary schools across Durham. Short term cover, long term placements, or just picking up days here and there. You choose how much you work. The Job: Stepping into classrooms when teachers are absent. Lessons are pre planned, you deliver them. Managing behaviour in schools where students don't know you. Adapting quickly to different environments and expectations. You'll need: QTS (or equivalent) Secondary teaching experience Solid classroom management skills Flexibility and resilience Ability to build rapport fast Why people do supply: Control over your schedule. No planning or marking to take home. Variety across different schools. Some do it between permanent roles, others prefer the flexibility long term. Weekly pay via PAYE, competitive rates, and you decide which schools you go back to.
