This role offers the opportunity to contribute to delivering excellent propositions and products, gaining valuable exposure and facing exciting challenges. It also plays a central role in growing the Commercial Lending Team and leveraging investment plans to build a strong business for commercial customers.
About the role
* You will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, assessing, designing, and delivering customer-centric commercial propositions and product developments.
* You will work with the wider Commercial Lending Team to create insight-led products that deliver clear commercial benefits and meet market needs. You will champion product development, work with stakeholders for buy-in, and manage change initiatives.
* You will oversee a portfolio of ongoing changes, assess their complexity, cost, impact, and establish business benefits, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and regulatory guidance.
About you
* You understand how financial products create value for both the business and customers.
* You have a proven track record of building stakeholder networks and understanding the industry and competitors.
* You possess experience in delivering change, communicating effectively at all levels, and collaborating to implement initiatives.
* You are an accomplished leader with experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams, including remotely.
* You have knowledge of lending onboarding operations, especially within commercial mortgages, and experience in managing loan application activities.
* You have excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, capable of managing difficult conversations.
* You have experience in process improvement and a mindset for challenging existing ways of working to enhance efficiency and customer service.
* You prioritize providing excellent customer service and have experience delivering this to brokers and end customers.
