At Krispy Kreme, we’re committed to delivering the highest quality doughnuts while ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members. We’re seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to help us maintain a safe and compliant work environment across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Policy Development & Implementation: Create, review, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.• Risk Assessments & Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.• Training & Awareness: Deliver engaging health and safety training sessions to staff and management, fostering a culture of safety awareness.• Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies, ensuring continuous improvement.• Toolbox Talks & Awareness Campaigns: Create and deliver materials to promote understanding and discussion on key safety topics• Data Collection & Statistical Analysis: Record and analyse data relating to incidents, near misses, audits, training, and safety performance. Use data to identify trends and recurring issues
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification.• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a health and safety advisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK health and safety legislation and best practices.• Skills: Strong communication, training, and report-writing abilities.• Car & Driving Licence: Essential as travel will be required
