Structural Bioinformatics Lead Scientist, Cambridge

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Scientist with experience in Structure-based Protein Engineering and Bioinformatics to join our EDS Bioinformatics team in Cambridge, UK.
Key responsibilities:
* Work on multiple customer projects involving in silico assessments and computational design for antibody-based and recombinant protein therapeutics.
* Utilize proprietary platforms for antibody humanization, deimmunization, immunogenicity (Epibase), and manufacturability risk assessments to enhance the developability of bio-therapeutics for clients ranging from small biotech to large pharma.
* Contribute to developing innovative technologies to support R&D programs and optimize proteins for manufacturing processes.
Key requirements:
* PhD or equivalent in Computational Chemistry, Structural Biology, Physics, or Structural Bioinformatics, with proven experience.
* Expertise in protein structural analysis, homology modeling, and structure-based design, with a strong understanding of molecular interactions.
* Experience working in Linux environments and scripting (Python preferred).
* Experience in designing/developing ADCs is advantageous.
* Ability to generate high-quality reports and communicate effectively with clients.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and scientific creativity skills.
* Interest in process improvement through innovative solutions.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
