What you will be doing:
You will work on our Infrastructure project and frameworks. Ideally, you will be based locally, although we are open to subsidizing relocation.
As a Site Engineer, you will provide setting out and engineering control on site.
1. Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
2. Coordinate site engineering control and setting out activities and provide information to operatives and subcontractors.
3. Complete diary sheets along with photographic evidence as required.
4. Undertake material reconciliations.
5. Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.
6. Carry out as-built surveys on completed works and drawings.
7. Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works comply with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and maintaining as-built records.
8. Assist in basic planning, monitoring, and programming.
9. Mentor junior and graduate engineers as required.
10. Control and minimize waste on site.
11. Identify and assist in introducing new processes, techniques, and innovations on site.
12. Ensure all company property under your control is cared for and stored securely when not in use.
About You:
* Ability to work safely.
* Ability to read and interpret data and drawings.
* Confident with standard setting out techniques and ability to use Level and EDM; knowledge of GPS is preferred.
* Flexible attitude to work.
* HND qualification.
