We Are Survivors are looking for multiple new staff members to come and join our growing Therapy Teams team.
The organisation has an ambitious strategy to ensure that #NoMaleSurvivorsIsLeftBehind and is looking for several new members of staff to help us achieve this.
You will help us to provide key services across Greater Manchester. The therapy team is made of therapists from various modalities to support men and boys to access the services they need.
The roles we are recruiting are to grow this from our central hub wider across Greater Manchester.
Main duties of the job
Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic services.
Accurately record clinical interventions.
Undertake specific therapeutic projects as directed by the Senior Management Team.

Essential
8. Registration:
9. - BACP, UKCP, BPS (or equivalent).
10. Qualifications:
11. - Counsellor/Psychotherapist (BACP or appropriate membership body recognised).
Desirable
12. Qualifications:
13. - Masters Level or above in Counselling/Psychotherapy.
14. - EMDR / Post Graduate Diploma in CBT.
Experience
Essential
15. Knowledge and Experience:
16. - Understanding of issues relating to rape and sexual assault, particularly those relating to boys and men.
17. - Experience of providing 1:1 counselling/psychotherapy.
18. Skills:
19. - Ability to prioritise own work load.
20. - Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
21. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent, and electronic database system.
Desirable
22. Knowledge and Experience:
23. - Experience in data management and information governance.
24. - Previous experience of working within a highly confidential setting, adhering to data governance.
25. - Previous experience of working within the voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
