The Newham Community Integrated Mental Health Service has been established as part of the transformation of mental health services and supports closer working across all parts of the network, including specialist mental health services, GP practices, local authorities and voluntary sector partner agencies. It consists of six Primary Care Networks aligned with GP Networks and focuses on meeting the needs of residents with mental health needs and complex emotional needs via assessment, targeted meaningful interventions and supporting them to engage with relevant local resources.

8. Evidence of regular up-dating in practice

10. Experience of Clinical Leadership
11. Well-developed and suitable experience of working as a qualified RMN in adult community mental health services.
12. Experience of providing mentoring and supervision to junior staff and students on placement.
13. Suitable experience of working in a community mental health setting.
14. Experience of completing full psycho-social assessments and writing reports.
15. Experience of leading meaningful interventions
16. Experience of community building and exploring population health needs
17. Experience of providing clinical leadership/ management at band 6 level or above.
Desirable criteria
18. Experience of providing appraisal, supervision and support to junior staff
19. Experience of leading and managing change
20. Experience of working in a multi-cultural, inner city area.
Knowledge and Skills

21. The current legislation relating to Mental Health provision
22. Current models of working with people with serious mental health problems including psycho-social and recovery approaches
