Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa- Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, theres a kids club for the little ones and a workspace.
The Role:
As Assistant Reservations Manager you will be responsible for assisting in the leading of the Reservations & Switchboard team in the day-to-day operation and ensuring that all systems and procedures are completed. You will be collaborating closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
You will be responsible for managing all reservations (food and beverage, rooms, activities, general enquiries) as well as having an eye over all other member requests and itineraries. You will maximize the cover count of our restaurants, oversee the reporting of any booking patterns, actively encourage the team to cross sell other areas of the property and ensure that all day-to-day enquiries for restaurants, room reservations and guest requests are managed in a timely manner.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Strong people management experience is essential for this role as you will leading a large team across the Reservations and Switchboard team.
Who we are looking for:
Solid background in managing hotel room and F&B reservations, handling guest and member enquiries, overseeing booking patterns, and maximising cover counts across multiple outlets.
High proficiency in reservations systems. Working knowledge of Opera PMS/Opera Cloud is essential, with SevenRooms experience highly desirable, including maintaining accurate system data and using insights to drive performance.
Demonstrable experience leading, supervising, coaching and developing teams within a hotel reservations, front office, or hospitality environment.
Exceptional guest service and problem-solving skills. A calm, solution-focused approach with experience handling bookings, resolving guest and member complaints, and consistently delivering a high standard of service.
Confident in liaising with multiple departments, leading meetings, contributing to SOP development, and ensuring seamless coordination across the property.
Please note: this role will require flexibility across weekends and evenings working 5 days over 7 Monday - Sunday.
The on target earning potential for this role is £43,000 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £40,000, plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge.

About gratuities & service charge:
Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
