Bench Hand Joiner
Location: Newton-Le-Willows
Salary: £17.04 per hour / £38,987.52 per annum
Hours: Monday Friday, 6:00am start (3844 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
The Opportunity
Were currently recruiting for an experienced or time-served Bench Hand Joiner to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Newton-Le-Willows. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its high standards, craftsmanship, and supportive working environment.
This role offers the chance to work on a variety of specialist joinery tasks, including high-pressure laminate work, door assembly, and bespoke products all within a modern manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate hand and power tools with precision
* Use dimension saws, spindle moulders, and routers
* Operate sanding and postforming machinery
* Work with spray adhesives and laminates
* Install vision panels and ironmongery on fire doors
* Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working area
* Keep accurate stock and material usage records
