Our Client is actively seeking to recruit a Trainee Logistics Administrator for their busy Head Office in Basildon.
As the Trainee Logistics Administrator in the Logistics team you will be responsible for all procedures connected with proof of deliveries this includes liaison with customers by telephone and email. Ensuring that all company files are stored correctly in line with the company processes.
Your duties will include:
Sort, scan, attach to FMS (Freight Management System) shipment details.
Source PODs (Proof of Deliveries) from suppliers websites,
Request PODs on request.
Meeting the individual needs of clients in regards for their demands on PODs
Picking and Packing
Quality Checking (QC)
Stock counting
Warehouse Management System (WMS) putting customers orders onto the system.
Processing customer returns.
Arranging freight couriers for customer collections and delivery.
FilingIf you have some recent experience of working within an office environment in an administrative role and have a good attention to detail with a good understanding of Excel, Word and outlook then this could be the ideal role for you.
