The Role
My client is looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead their production team and ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high production standards, achieving output targets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement on site.
Key Responsibilities of a Production Manager
* Manage daily production operations to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and operators.
* Drive adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, etc.).
* Work closely with Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams to optimize production schedules and minimize downtime.
* Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Monitor KPIs and use data to identify and address performance gaps.
* Manage resource planning, training, and performance evaluations within the production team.
About You
* Proven experience in a Production Management role within FMCG, food, or beverage manufacturing.
* Strong people management and leadership skills.
* Excellent understanding of production processes, quality systems, and lean principles.
* Results-driven, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
