We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Counter Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates, aiming to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership, coaching, and business management skills gained in a fast-paced retail environment. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to act as the Chief Executive Officer of your store.

You will be responsible for creating and executing a flexible business plan to attract and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, excellent customer relationship management, and leading a high-performing team.

* Effective verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to win people over
* Results-oriented with a high drive to meet objectives and standards
* Goal-oriented, willing to pursue goals beyond expectations
* Ability to identify and support others' development needs
* Ability to anticipate, recognize, and meet customer needs
* Diplomatic and tactful in handling difficult customer situations
* Leadership skills, including guiding performance and accountability
* Ability to cultivate and maintain extensive informal networks
* Model qualities like respect, helpfulness, and cooperation within a team
* High attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive and positive attitude towards work and tasks
* Discretion, tact, and confidentiality when dealing with people
* Relevant retail sales experience
* Experience in team leadership
* Experience in strategic planning and execution (dependent on store size)
* Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources
* Proficiency with computer systems, including email and Microsoft Excel
