This role would suit an experienced Toolmaker or Tooling Engineer who enjoys problem-solving, working with complex tooling, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. It is ideal for someone comfortable balancing reactive repairs with planned maintenance, who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and values continuous learning and technical challenge.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out tooling repairs, servicing, diagnostics and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
Produce, modify and test tooling, prototypes and ancillary components to support production schedules.
Investigate breakdowns, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation, including tool histories, maintenance records and quality data.
Support new tooling projects, trials and buyoffs through to production readiness.Benefits
