The position is fully remote with extensive travel required in the Southeast of the UK.
About the Team
The ZF Passenger Car sales team includes a Country Manager, a Regional Sales Manager, 3 Key Account Managers, and 3 Business Development Managers. We collaborate closely with the customer services, technical, and marketing teams to develop business and share expertise.
What You Can Expect as a Business Development Manager
* Engage with key customers and buying groups
* Participate in company and product training with key customers
* Identify and develop new business channels
* Negotiate commercial agreements to grow business
* Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
* Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
* Collaborate with other territory managers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experiences
* Participate in customer trade events
Your Profile
* Proven experience in field sales or business development, preferably within the passenger car aftermarket
* Track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
* Good understanding of the UK/IRL aftermarket
* Mechanical knowledge
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver effective presentations
* Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer service, and pricing teams
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong plus
