A highly advanced precision CNC manufacturing company based in Hertfordshire is seeking a hardworking, accurate, and experienced CNC Turner to join their well-established team. The company supports a wide range of sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, and Robotics, operating at an F1-level standard within a clean, modern, and highly efficient engineering environment equipped with state‑of‑the‑art CNC machine tools.

The Role & Responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to ensure CNC turning machines run efficiently with minimal downtime while producing high‑precision components to exact drawing specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
* Setting machines and defining datums
* Proving out new jobs
* Editing and adjusting machine offsets
* Carrying out first‑off inspection checks
* Maintaining strict machining tolerances
* Interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Working closely with inspectors to ensure all tolerances are met
* Managing material identification and control
* Planning workloads effectively with Team Leaders
Key Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of CNC lathe setting and operating
* Ability to interpret and work confidently from engineering drawings
* Experience conducting first‑off inspections
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good timekeeping and reliability
* Strong understanding of machining tolerances and precision requirements
