Role Overview The Welfare Officer will provide frontline pastoral and wellbeing support for students. Key responsibilities include: Supporting students with emotional and wellbeing concerns Providing first aid and managing medical needs Monitoring vulnerable students Liaising with parents and carers Supporting safeguarding referrals Maintaining accurate welfare records Supporting behaviour and attendance interventions Working with Heads of Year Promoting wellbeing initiatives Ensuring safeguarding compliance The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism.
