Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, our client is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Your new role
Reporting to the Accountant and working as part of a busy finance function, you will undertake a range of responsibilities. Full training can be provided. Duties will include, but will not be limited to;
1. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
2. Process supplier invoices and match to purchase orders
3. Schedule and prepare payments, ensuring timely settlement
4. Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies or disputes
5. Perform reconciliations and assist with reporting
6. Support manual processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives
7. Create and issue customer invoices
8. Handle client queries and support credit control activities
9. Manage the finance mailbox and assist with reporting for management
10. Participate in analysis and reporting tasks
11. Assist with ad hoc finance projects as required
