Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, locating, and processing of all stock. Familiarity with supply chain procedures Good communication skills to interact with internal teams. Manage and maintain the company’s stock inventory including tracking and overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments Carry out regular audits of physical stock to ensure inventory records are accurate Coordinate and carry out the unpacking, storing, and locating of new inventory upon arrival Ensure all stock, material or finished goods are located correctly and accurately. Work with operations team to manage supply and demand. Issuing materials to works orders and returning excess material from works orders Communicate the existence of obsolete or damaged stock. Ensure the return of non-conforming materials is organised promptly. Ensure FIFO procedures are followed accurately. Ensure material shelf life is monitored and the material expiry process is followed. Generate and analyse stock reports, noting any discrepancies and investigating causes Ensure all stock storage areas are organized, clean, and safe for staff Communicate effectively with team members about stock levels and issues Coordinate between departments, supervisors, etc. to achieve a high level of stock accuracy and stock organisation The ability to liaise with internal customers Carry out monthly PI checks Manage stock movements to and from external storage locations. Continuously review and suggest updates of operating procedures in conjunction with the operations team. Education, Training and Experience; Capable of reading and understanding all written and visual instructions. Capable of providing written communications using company monitoring documentation. Capable of providing accurate product counts using company monitoring documentation Working knowledge of company risk assessments It would be an advantage to hold a Pedestrian stacker truck and Reach truck license A full and clean UK driving license is mandatory Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities; Safe handling of rubber and plastics Manual Handling Capability – following assessment Competent reading / writing / numeric skills Interpersonal and supervisor skills Planning skills Ability to train others
