Job Description for Social Worker – Fostering Team Full Time in Havering UK, earning £37.52 hourly for a period of 3 months. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fostering Assessing Social Worker to join our dynamic team in Havering. We are looking for a professional who has the expertise to manage a complex caseload and the ability to conduct face-to-face home visits with our carers both in and out of the borough. This full-time role includes participating in an out of hours rota. Applicants must have a current Social Work England registration along with at least two years of experience working with children, young people, and families services.

What you will do:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential foster carers and their homes in both local and out-of-borough locations.
* Manage a complex caseload with attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism.
* Provide support and guidance to foster carers, ensuring they have all necessary resources to deliver high-quality care to children and young people.
* Participate in the out of hours rota, offering support and advice when needed outside of regular office hours.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reports in line with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
* Engage in regular training and development opportunities to keep your skills sharp and up-to-date.
