Transport Planner
FM Conway is currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our growing Transport division. As our Transport Planner, you will play a key part in ensuring the effective and efficient planning of road transport operations. This is a 9-12 month, fixed-term contract based out of our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
Duties
* Planning the full utilisation of our transport fleet
* Liaising with site supervisors regarding the most profitable use of our assets
* Reducing the requirement for sub-contract haulage
* Gaining a full understanding of site requirements and restrictions, transport systems and transport regulations
* Assisting in KPI reporting on vehicle/driver earnings and utilisation
Skills & Experience
We are looking for an organised and customer focused candidate who has the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. It would be ideal if you had previous experience in planning and scheduling, but we are also happy to consider candidates with a strong administration background.
