Role Overview

As a Front of House Manager, you’ll be the welcoming face of the nursery, acting as the first point of contact for both parents and children. Your role will require warm, efficient, and professional communication, ensuring that both parents and team feel supported and valued.

Join our newly converted 136-place Nursery in Chertsey, conveniently located near Chertsey train station and accessible via M25 and M3. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to reimagining early years education with creativity, a curriculum-led approach, and modern preparation for children.


Key Responsibilities

* Welcome parents and children daily, serving as the first point of contact via email and telephone.
* Manage the ‘Go Beyond’ experience, including maintaining the Parent Breakfast Bar and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
* Handle parent communications, respond to emails within SLAs, manage surveys, sessional change requests, and coordinate personal tours.
* Organize and oversee new children’s settling-in sessions.
* Line manage the Nursery Operations team (kitchen and cleaning), ensuring standards meet company and industry regulations.
* Liaise with Facilities and Maintenance to keep the building in excellent condition and coordinate repairs.
* Oversee operational management, including budgeting, occupancy tracking, invoicing, procurement, and staff rotas.
* Monitor nursery occupancy to reach 95%, manage waiting lists, and communicate updates to parents.
* Assist with compliance actions, such as Right to Work verifications.
* Support marketing with nursery newsletters and event planning.
* Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed, fostering a culture of safety and high standards.
