Senior Buyer - Belfast (Hybrid)

My client is a growing, medium-sized business based in Belfast, delivering quality food products across Northern Ireland, and are looking for a Senior Buyer who can drive efficiency, innovation, and excellence across their operations.
With full access to UK and Irish markets, the company provides end-to-end services including warehousing, logistics, customs, marketing, sales, and finance. Trusted by global brands, they combine market insight with expert execution to build visibility, drive growth, and deliver results.
You will;
* Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, from procurement and inventory management to logistics and distribution.
* Optimise processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
* Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless supply chain performance.
* Manage a dedicated team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
* Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.
* Oversee procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, and inventory control.
* Lead contract negotiations, ensuring best value and long-term supplier partnerships.
* Forecast demand and manage supply planning to support sales and marketing activities.
Criteria;
* Proven leadership experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations
* Strong track record in supplier negotiations, logistics, and end-to-end supply chain management.
* Excellent commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills.
* Experience with ERP and supply chain management systems.
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and people leadership skills
