Job Title: Office Administrator

Salary: £24,648-£28,500 FTE

Location: VMT Training Centre, Islip

Hours: 16 hours per week

Benefits: 33 days holiday per annum (includes bank holidays) Pro rata

Reports to: VMT Training Provision Manager

About Us:

As part of Vegetation Management Services Ltd (VMS), VMT is a Lantra and BALI accredited Training school and Arboricultural Consultancy providing a wide range of technical support and training courses primarily aimed at the Landscaping and Arboricultural Industry.

We are customer focused and always strive to meet the needs of the client with professionalism and good humour. Forward thinking in anticipation of need, we look to forge relationships with our clients to help them meet their long term goals, whether that be as an organisation or an individual.

Job Overview:

Due to continued expansion VMT have an opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our small and busy team. This will be a varied administrative role in a fast-growing business. Based at our Islip Training Office this role will involve customer and accrediting body contact, production and processing of course related paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

* Developing relationships with potential clients
* Following up queries/requests regarding training from clients
* Coordination of course bookings (clients)
* Booking instructors
* Registering learners onto courses
* Ordering paperwork
* Working with instructors to ensure that relevant kit and paperwork are available on the day
* Meeting and greeting instructors and learners
* Inputting paperwork onto the course logging system
* Sending out learner certificates.
* Collating learner feedback
* Attendance at trade show events
* Any other administrative duties as required by the Management team.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Accreditations

* Good written communication skills
* Good verbal communication
* Good organisation skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
* Attention to detail
* Adaptable and hard working
* Loyal and keen to learn
* Car owner with full valid driving licence

Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Accreditations

* First Aid Training (training available at VMT)
* Manual Handling (training available at VMT)

Please note that full training will be given to undertake the role – we are looking for the right fit for our small team.
